My nephew recently got his results. He's a blessed genius and we expected him to score a perfect 100 in science. However, it was far lower. CBSE has strict evaluation and checking processes to get your marks right the first time. But with human involvement, rare errors can still occur.
CBSE offers online options to review marks for genuine errors, helping ensure fairness for all students. However there are many wrong information being spread on the process

Only the student can apply with their own login. This ensures students fully understand all instructions, warnings, and risks—especially as marks can decrease too.

Class 12: 21–22 May, ₹700/subject. Class 10: 27–28 May, ₹500/subject. Apply online only. No late or offline applications are accepted.

Apply 28–29 May. ₹500 per subject. This checks totaling, missed marking, and marks transfer. Only available if you obtained your scanned copy officially.
Apply 28–29 May. ₹100 per question (max 10 per subject). You can challenge specific answers if not satisfied after previous steps.

The post-result application portals are usually at cbseit.in/cbse/web/rchk/. For 2025, always check cbse.gov.in for the official link and updates before applying.

No late applications are accepted for any stage. Set reminders and act fast—especially during busy result season.

If marks remain unsatisfactory, supplementary exams are open: Class 10 in any subject; Class 12 in one subject, in July 2025. Watch cbse.gov.in for notices.

You may request your answer sheet via RTI for ₹10. But this is for viewing only—not eligible for verification/re-evaluation. Use only CBSE’s official portal for further review steps.
